Issuing Time Sensitive Materials through a Website

If you do not have a business website for your company, how are you handling time-sensitive media surrounding your enterprise?  You could specify to the press that the media not be released before a certain time and date, but this is not really an ‘official’ option.  In fact, if it does work consider yourself very lucky, since the press generally releases news as it comes in.  Therefore, a better solution is to join the revolution that most companies are getting involved in, which entails starting and maintaining a business website.

With a business website the concern of time and date becomes virtually non-existent since any new news regarding your company can be posted instantly.  How can you go about doing this?  It depends on how your business website is designed.  It is possible to create your business website in such a way that news-related information can be posted by filling out a simple form.  If you know how to program in scripts or other languages used for websites, you could have a field in the form specifying the time and date you wanted it to be posted.  For example, if you wanted to have the news posted two days after you filled out the form, you would just enter in the time and date you needed, and it would show two days later.

If you are unable to have a business website that advanced, that’s okay, since you could update the news section of your site on your own.  To do this you would need to use whatever word processor, HTML editor or web hosting template you initially used.  You would then edit that particular page.  Don’t forget to include the time and date you plan on posting the news as you are editing.  Once you are finished, you will have to upload the updated webpage on the time and date that you intended.  Don’t mess up on this step, especially if the time and date of the news is so important it could impact what is going on with your customer.  An example could be if your company is selling a product that got recalled.  Not putting this information up on the right time and date could put customers in danger, depending on the reason the product got recalled.  You definitely do not want your customers to continue using a product that has been deemed bad for them.

So, what can you do to get started on creating the perfect business website that will help you release company-related news on the right time and date?  The answer is MaxiPRO.  Through their website editor, you can easily post time-sensitive information on your site as you are creating or editing it.
