It is a well-established security fact that any attempt to protect our system with secure software, access lists and firewalls may be thwarted simply by gaining physical access to the machine. Our server centres demand validation tags, visual ID checking systems, entry passwords, combination locks, 24 hour monitoring by humans on the ground and constant Closed Circuit TV cameras. Our managed servers are housed within a 19" rack. We connect our server directly to a switch, and from there onto the Internet backbone. Continuous Data Protection (CDP) allows us to backup all your data to a secure off-site location four times per day. It also allows us in the event of major disaster, to restore service in minutes not hours. Our private network transports our backups to a separate location, providing ultimate peace of mind even during "worst case" scenario situations where data recovery is required. An entire server can be recovered from an extremely recent backup in a matter of minutes.

Our servers are protected with a powerful, industry-leading, anti-spam and anti-virus system called MailFoundry. We run dedicated filtering servers to ensure your inbox remains clean of all spam and harmful emails.

Much like a PC virus scanner uses virus definitions, MailFoundry uses spam definitions to identify and remove spam emails before they reach your inbox. The spam definitions are updated every 5 minutes by real human spam editors to ensure even the most recent spam outbreaks are filtered guaranteeing maximum effectiveness.

Traditional spam filtering used by other companies, such as SpamAssassin use keywords to guess which emails might be spam, this leads to high false-positive rates (genuine emails being lost). Because MailFoundry does not use traditional scoring, and does not guess which emails may be spam, it leads the industry with a false positive rate of less than 1 in 1 million.
